i have been thinking a lot recently about pigeons and animals that are viewed as pests in general but mostly pigeons. about the way they are tormented and mistreated by people .. about the way that the label of "pest" makes many devoid of any empathy towards living beings ... similarly the violent way people act towards invasive species , like the crime of being born somewhere foreign deserves cruel and extensive torture .. assigning immorality to animals who are just trying to survive in their environment. i came across a pigeon in her dying moments recently , i could do nothing but sit with her and stroke her feathers as she passed away . i named her emma . i hope she knows that someone remembers her.

am I supposed to press the pedestrian crossing light when there is already people waiting? I think that it might come off as aggressive, but I have been burnt before
