This incredible zine by Mynamechef was crafted by Ronen in one evening during a hangout with Emma and Jasmine. I can’t fully recall the evening but I assume Ronen cooked an incredible dinner. Jasmine then got out a bunch of watercolour paper and inks. Soon enough Ronen started painting away and before we knew it he painted a whole book. Ronens drawings carry so much whimsy which is paired with his unique and experimental recipes. The pages travel across the world as he brings offerings of fusion onigiri recipes. The zine feels like a recipe diary of sorts; a personal offering for his community. Dedicated to Chibi Dushane Jafari, r.i.p. lil bro. I know you would have loved onirigi if you were a human instead of a cat.
